Date Details and Zmanim
The list below the grid brings together everything for the selected day.
It starts with the civil and Hebrew dates and the location the zmanim are calculated for, followed by your events, holidays, the weekly Torah portion, and the day’s zmanim.
The current zman
When today is selected, the list scrolls so that the zman just before the next one is at the top: the next zman is the second row, with the rest of the day below it. It does this when the app opens, when you select a day, and when you return to the app — not while you are reading. Any other day starts at the top.
Special times
Candle-lighting times appear in orange. On Shabbat and Yom Tov, Tzeit Hakochavim — the halachic end of the day — appears together with Tzeit Shabbat or Tzeit Chag, the end of Shabbat or the festival, which is always a little later. On Erev Pesach, the last times to eat and destroy chametz follow the regular zmanim after a gap; a minor fast’s beginning and end are grouped the same way.
Choosing a zmanim method
In Location Settings, choose the method followed for that location, or Show All to compare the available opinions side by side. Each saved location keeps its own method. Tap the ⓘ beside the method for a short explanation; the Zmanim Methods section of this guide explains them in full.
You can also assemble your own method from individual opinions — see Custom zmanim profiles.
